WHO ARE YOUR OLD FRIEND’S AND YOUR UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES?
My siblings and I all had the privilege of going to a small private school in Bozeman MT, were we
made wonderful friends and unforgettable memories. It is still a boarding school, and fortunately my parents decided
to move to Bozeman when we were all young, and we were able to live at home and go to the school. We all worked in the school
year and during the summer to pay for our tuition, and it was so worth it. The friends that we made during that time
have impacted our lives in so many ways. They have an alumni weekend every April and this year was my Brother 40th class
reunion. My parents used to volunteer every month for a weekend in the dormitories and did this for many years even after we
had graduated, my dad in the boys dormitory and my mom in the girls dormitory, so we were close to so many students,
not just in our class but freshmen to seniors, and we always had kids hanging out at our home my mom did a lot of extra cooking and my
dad would take many of them fishing, hunting, our just hang out with all of us. It made such an impact on my family, as well as many other’s. Well this weekend I was reminded of what a special time is was, you know what it’s like when you haven’t seen an old friend for awhile, you just pick up where you left off, it’s like a magical moment in time, and that is what happened this weekend.
You see them the way they have always been, not judging them or thinking they look older, or different, its just what you remember them as, your precious friends.
Oh my dear friends I believe that is what HEAVEN will be like, but better than we could ever think or imagine, this is
what true BEAUTY is all about. Shanna
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Amplified Bible (AMP)
9 Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; 10 for if [a]either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up. 11 Again, if two lie down together, then they keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? 12 And though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Jan 25, 2018 – I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light. A good friend is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have. There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends. There’s nothing like a really loyal, dependable, good friend.
